Mississippi Valley State has swept this week's SWAC Player of the Week honors.

MVSU senior guard/forward Cor-J Cox has been named the SWAC men's basketball Player of the Week for games played on Jan. 28 (Jackson State) and Jan. 30 (Grambling State).

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound, Washington, N.C. native averaged 13.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game as the Delta Devils remained perfect in SWAC play at 9-0. He shot 61 percent from the field in the two victories.
