Two members of the MVSU Devilette volleyball program were honored by the Southwestern Athletic Conference as defensive player and newcomer of the week for September 15.
Middle blocker Shonese Evans (5-7, Jr., Schriever, La.) amassed 48 kills, 16 total blocks, 11 digs and five services aces as her Devilettes team went 2-2 last weekend.
At the time, Evans currently lead her team in blocks with 33 for the season.
Hoff - a 5-foot-8 junior from Standard, Alberta, Canada recorded 36 kills, 26 digs, three service aces and two blocks to help MVSU post two wins last weekend including a divisional win over Alabama State.
The junior transfer is presently ranked second on her team in kills (2.14 per game) and has helped guide the Devilettes to a conference-best 5-4, 1-0 record.
