Job Description:

Responsible for proactively seeking campus news; reporting, writing and photographing campus news and events; composing news releases for review, broadcast and web media and other forms of communication for external and internal release; writing feature stories; assist with development of university newsletter and alumni magazine; responsible for video production, proofreading and editing various printed materials

Qualifications Required :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, journalism, or Public Relations with experience in journalism or public relations; must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; possess good interpersonal skills; capability of interviewing faculty and staff for feature stories; experience with photography, audio/video tape editing techniques, knowledge of computerized tape editing applications  and procedures are required
