Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is an administrative unit under the direction of the Division of Academic Affairs. This unit serves as the University's official coordinating office to assist faculty and staff with obtaining external funding support. This funding is awarded primarily from governmental agencies (state and federal) to support  training, instruction, research, public service, and other sponsored projects.

The sponsored programs and activities of the faculty and administrators generate over 20% of the University's budget. This success in securing funding can be credited to the leadership of the administration, the commitment and dedication of the faculty, the quality of the students and the tireless efforts of the OSP staff.
